It took me so long to realize something I should've always known...
Loving Myself Comes First
In every way, in any form, you should never forget to put yourself first. It took me so long to realize all I needed was myself, my true self, to be happy. To truly understand who I was changed everything for me. It gave me motivation to follow my dreams and my passion, I wake up feeling beautiful every day because of it. I see hope, I see life and every day I am so ready to fight.
5+ years ago I would've never been able to stand in front of the camera like I did in this session. I used to be SO SO SO self conscious about how I looked, the way I did my hair and probably my weight as well. Any little thing bothered me, even if no one else could tell. I did this photo shoot (thanks to my boyfriend for the shots, looovvv you! ) feeling 25, so proud of myself for getting rid of all the self doubt and negativity. OF COURSE, I am super annoying in front of the camera which is why I'm better behind it BUT the point is... back then this would've never happened, nope.. no way. I would've cried in the middle of it (and I'm not lying) asking myself why I'm not pretty enough. So being able to write this and tell you that I got through it all, makes me so happy.
So I put together simple tips (but not so easy to do) in things I did to ease my mind and find myself 100%
- WORK OUT!!!
I'm sure you've heard every Instagram motivational page say this but seriously... IT WORKS. It increases "Endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline and endocannabinoid -- these are all brain chemicals associated with feeling happy."

3 . HAVE A HEALTHY DIET (OR AT LEAST CLOSE ENOUGH)
- and no, I'm not telling you to stop eating fries and chocolate! that is also very therapeutic especially watching a good Netflix show! (LOL) What I am saying is a bit easier than going on a diet or anything like that. For example, if you suffer from depression google "Foods that help with depression." LITERALLY, and the answer would say, "Fatty fish (anchovy, mackerel, salmon, sardines, shad, and tuna) Nuts, especially walnuts. and more." so what happens next? GO FIND IT! I promise you it makes such a big difference once you start eating what you've been missing. Of course, you're not going to see the difference right after you eat the first walnut, "OMG I'M SO MUCH HAPPIER NOW." you know what I mean? give it time and you will feel the difference!
It's always easier said than done, and I know it's hard to take that first step into finding yourself and to feel better but I promise the moment you take that step you will be ALLL IN!!!
